Senior Technical Product Manager - API & SDKs

About The Position

Fireblocks is a leading digital asset infrastructure provider for some of the largest global financial institutions in the crypto space. Hundreds of customers use Fireblocks’ platform to conduct their robust financial operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and managing the vision, roadmap and execution of the Fireblocks API and client libraries (SDKs). You will partner closely with many stakeholders across Fireblocks, such as the Product, Solutions, R&D, and Documentation teams, to gather feedback, conceptualize and deliver incremental business value to our core set of API infrastructure and tools.

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the Product Owner for the existing API infrastructure, including its core set of functionality, stability and improvements  
  • Partner with other Product Managers and R&D teams to design and release APIs and SDKs for new or existing products
  • Work closely with the Docs team to define and improve upon API and SDK documentation via a “docs-as-code” philosophy
  • Interview customers to capture a broad range of use cases, that can be synthesized into impactful API, SDK and development tooling requirements
  • Understand the Web3 development tools landscape to prioritize a roadmap of integrations
  • Work closely with the Product Analytics team to create dashboards for API metrics and KPIs
  • Lead features from ideation to delivery throughout the development life-cycle

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager for a SaaS/cloud-driven company 
  • Experience with managing APIs, SDKs and/or backend infrastructure products
  • Experience with creating metrics plans and defining key performance indicators
  • Experience with the Swagger/OpenAPI standard is a plus
  • Familiarity working with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Familiarity with a programming languages such as Python or Javascript is a plus
  • Familiarity with Web3 development tools and environments is a plus
  • High fluency in English, excellent soft skills, and a creative mind/approach
