We’re looking for an exceptional Mobile Director who is highly proficient in building modern mobile applications and features from scratch, with vast knowledge and mastery of the iOS & Android ecosystem. You will be taking full ownership of the entire Mobile side of the Fireblocks disruptive products. Fireblocks offering for mobile include 2 Hot Wallet apps (1 Android and 1 iOS), Cold Wallet app for iOS and standalone SDK for iOS and Android to deliver non-custodial wallet solutions for our customers.
From design to production, including bringing creative and fast solutions to many UI/UX challenges while working closely with our Product and Design team. You will be responsible for the mentoring and delivery of the Mobile team, regarding best practices and dev guidelines while fostering innovation and ownership across the team and company. Requirements
At least 3 years' experience as a Mobile Manager.
At least 5+ years experience in the development of high quality mobile applications.
Proven experience delivering a high-quality application to the App Store or Google Play.
Deep understanding of the latest iOS and Android SDK.
A proactive approach with the ability to organize self and work effectively.
Team player.
Security knowledge - advantage.
Experience with Objective C/NDK - Advantage.
Objectives and Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide all R&D activities of the payments teams
- Leads the design, build, and management of a secure, scalable and resilient payment engine infrastructure
- Initiate and implement enterprise architecture best practices
- Plays a mentorship role to engineering personnel, constantly promoting best practices and improvement in their professional skills
- Collaborate with product management and other Fireblocks units to define, prioritize and execute the unit roadmap
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or related technical certificate
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles, involving Full-stack or backend experience at scale, working within a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment
- At least 3 years of experience managing 2+ engineering teams, leading teams to deliver enterprise products
- Demonstrate strong system-level troubleshooting skills and possess an ability to identify and resolve high-level scalability and performance issues
- Experience in designing scalable architectures based on cloud providers
- Strong communication skills in a highly collaborative environment
- High Analytical and troubleshooting skills - ability to solve complex problems
