We are seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Engineer to join our DevRel team and drive the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of developer-oriented technical documentation for Fireblocks API.This role is pivotal in ensuring an exceptional Developer Experience by providing clear, comprehensive, and engaging documentation to assist developers in integrating and utilizing our platform effectively.

Responsibilities:

Develop Comprehensive Documentation - Write and maintain technical documentation based on design specifications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
This includes API reference guides, SDKs documentation and integration guides.

Create New Guides and Resources - Research, plan, and create new guides, tutorials, and resources to address emerging developer needs and support new features and functionalities.

Enhance Developer Experience - Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the overall Developer Experience through documentation and guides.

Maintain Consistency and Quality - Establish and adhere to documentation standards, style guidelines, and best practices. Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across all documentation assets, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developer-focused technical writing.
  • Proven experience in REST API documentation.
  • Proficiency in tools and platforms commonly used for documentation, such as Markdown, Git, and documentation generators (e.g., Swagger/OAS).
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skill (English - mother tongue level)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience with blockchain and web3 technologies.
